Leaving for SES NY

Written by Carolyn Shelby

I’m (finally) all packed (I think… though I’m sure I’ve forgotten something because I always do) and I’ll be leaving the office for O’Hare at 12:45p today. Flight should land at LGA at quarter to sevenish, and I’m hoping I can get to the hotel and then to the SES NY Charity Party before nine.

I will be attempting to twitter a little bit while I’m in NY, but as I haven’t signed up for the unlimited texting package w/ Nextel, I’m not sure how much I’ll be utilizing the mobile service. (Maybe I should call them before I leave and see if I can’t get that handled?)

I’m in town through Friday night, and I’ve got some work related things to be doing throughout the week. (We’re doing some marketing thing for publishers and it’s all conveniently right in the same vicinity as SES… so that’s handy.)

Let see… I don’t think there are any other housekeeping issues to mention. I could post my tentative schedule for the week, but since it involves a lot of checking in with the office and doing “work-work”, I’m sure it would be boring 🙂

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone, and if anyone would like my cell so they can get a hold of me while I’m at the conference, just email me!
