What does this have to do with SEO? Well… nothing… but it is SUPER tasty and super easy to make, so I felt compelled to share.
Ingredients:
1 Box of Graham Crackers
2 Sticks of Butter (1/2 pound; each stick is 1/4 pound)
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
What to do:
Break graham crackers into smallest unit possible as dictated by the perforations in the crackers.
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Line a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with crackers (it’s okay if they touch each other)
Put the butter and the brown sugar in a saucepan and bring to a rapid bowl (probably on medium to medium low heat. The recipe doesn’t say, but trust me you DO NOT want to burn the butter.)
Pour the butter and sugar mixture over the graham crackers and make sure they’re completely covered.
Put tray in oven and bake about 10 minutes (until bubbly)
Remove from oven and let sit for a minute or until they’re cool enough to handle.
With a spatula, remove from tray and place on a piece of foil to cool. (DO NOT STACK. They’ll stick together.)
Let cool completely.
You can do the butter and sugar in the microwave. And you should also melt some chocolate chips on top. MMMMmmmm…
I’ve always done this with saltines – never thought to use graham crackers. I’ll have to try that!
I also never let mine cool completely, and end up with seriously burnt fingers and tongues, but it’s so worth it.
I’m not 100% sure but I think us here in the UK can substitute McVities Digestives (‘jestives) for the Graham crackers you’ve used.
This does sound like a very very bad recipe though, what with the season of over indulgence just a few weeks away!
This sounds totally decadent while being quick and easy to do. Like the idea of the melted chocolate on top.
I do this with matzah and chocolate chips for a Passover dessert. Always gets gobbled up!
